Sometimes behind the scenes photos are my favorite because you can feel the creative energy taking shape as people work together. Two of my all time favorite ladies heatherbaileytattoo and Julie. So excited about the many shoots to come this year.

One of my favorite parts of getting out and traveling is that it helps me realize how little I really need to be happy. Your house is reduced to a carry on. Your routine to the whims of your desires. Your job, your salary, your raise to calm quite moments spent doing nothing productive. In my day to day I sometimes forget how unnecessary it all is and that ultimately it’s not the stuff; it’s the people and the small moments that you remember, none of the bullshit we all get caught up in.

There are certain things from the 365 Days of Leica project that I knew I wanted to re-shoot for the Lomography project. Sometimes seeing a place, at a different time brings about a different perspective. Bixby Canyon Bridge is one of my favorite things to shoot, and favorite places along the west coast so its not mistake I shot it twice for 365 Days of Leica (04.28.14 and 11.04.14) and returned to shoot it with a Sprocket Rocket for this project. Few things really fit the long panorama better than the vast expanse of the Bixby Canyon Bridge.
