I really like the 50S if your looking for Instax or if youre going to dive into the world of Polaroid/Impossible Project I like the 680.

how to you develop your sprocket rocket film? :)
I get the negatives developed at a lab, unless its black and white I do those myself, and then I scan the negatives using a DigitaLiza and my Epson V750 scanner.
Hello! I was wondering if you could tell me where to look for rescued bulldogs. I remember seeing a IG post either you or the lovely Julie posted about how you got Huxley. Thank you and have a great day!
Hello!! We got Huxley through Southern California Bulldog Rescue. They are amazing over there.
If you were going to suggest buying one instant camera, which one would it be?
Well if its for ease of use, ie film you can get without ording online, Id get the Instax Mini 50s.
If youre talking pure photographic quality Id get a Polaroid 680. The Impossible Project sells some refurbished or you can risk getting old ones on ebay.
I don’t think your work is “evil” so much as it’s mysterious, which makes it much more “erotic” (a word I’m not crazy about) as a result. The photos are as much about what we don’t see as what you show us, which is why your photos really resonate for me. I shot burlesque for six years, I’ve seen breasts and asses and genitals and I like the view but… eh? Better to wonder and be curious, I think. Now if someone sees that as evil, I think that says more about the complainant than your work.
Thank you so much. That’s a huge compliment in my mind.
I completely agree.Thanks for replying.
I think the ‘evil’ your Anon spoke about might be the simple things of models not wearing pretty smiles, the b/w shots often having a lot of deep shadow, the use of fetish-ish accessories and lingerie, the ‘unglamourous’ settings and ‘unromantic’ harsh light. Just a thought on what might be considered as ‘evil’. Besides that, you don’t happen to have any single clones?
Sorry for the delayed reply on this one. Its an interesting perspective and I can totally see what you mean. I don’t really see the work I do as dark, but I can logically understand your point.
Im curious what other people think. Tell me!!
Also, sorry my clones are FAR too busy doing my bidding. MUAHAHAHAHA.
I love how Julie not only feels very comfortable in you following your passions and dreams of the type of photography you do, but that she seems to have jumped aboard with you and supports you both emotionally and physically. Such a beautiful and trusting relationship.
She truly is an astonishing women. To find someone that not only can share your passion but be a part of it and push it to become better and stronger is the best thing you can find in life and I got VERY lucky to find that in Julie.
What do you feed your beard when he gets hungry, I usually use infant children, but they’re hard to come by.
Julie booty. What else!?!?!?!!
Why film? Doesn’t it cost more? Couldn’t you shoot more and get more at each shoot if you just did digital?
Well Ive got this one before, the short answer that “magic” of photography for me only comes form shooting film.
The long answer is that I work in digital in a lot of different mediums for conducting business. I took many years off shooting photography and went back to it in order to get more on an artistic outlet and a way to create art that let me get out of the digital space.
