“But love doesn’t make sense. You can’t logic your way into or out of it. Love is totally nonsensical. But we have to keep doing it, or else we’re lost and love is dead and humanity should just pack it in. Because love is the best thing we do.” – Ted Mosby, How I Met Your Mother Season 9, Episode 22.

To me what is so rad about kids is they don’t know what they “can’t” or “shouldn’t” do. We all start so large and then shrink to fit within the scenarios we grow up in. But if you are never told you have to shrink, imagine how big we all could become.

I take her picture to remember the butterflies I get everytime I look at her. To remember how she makes the world melt away when she’s in my arms. To remember the smell of her hair hanging in my face. To remember what really matters. To inspire me to be the man I want to be for her. To dream of the life will share together. To capture the life we had, to share with the future. To remind me what love looks like. To love and to be loved by her.
