If you were going to suggest buying one instant camera, which one would it be?

Well if its for ease of use, ie film you can get without ording online, Id get the Instax Mini 50s.

If youre talking pure photographic quality Id get a Polaroid 680. The Impossible Project sells some refurbished or you can risk getting old ones on ebay.

I don’t think your work is “evil” so much as it’s mysterious, which makes it much more “erotic” (a word I’m not crazy about) as a result. The photos are as much about what we don’t see as what you show us, which is why your photos really resonate for me. I shot burlesque for six years, I’ve seen breasts and asses and genitals and I like the view but… eh? Better to wonder and be curious, I think. Now if someone sees that as evil, I think that says more about the complainant than your work.

I think the ‘evil’ your Anon spoke about might be the simple things of models not wearing pretty smiles, the b/w shots often having a lot of deep shadow, the use of fetish-ish accessories and lingerie, the ‘unglamourous’ settings and ‘unromantic’ harsh light. Just a thought on what might be considered as ‘evil’. Besides that, you don’t happen to have any single clones?

Sorry for the delayed reply on this one. Its an interesting perspective and I can totally see what you mean. I don’t really see the work I do as dark, but I can logically understand your point.
