So I just stumbled upon your work today, and I find it very unique and inspiring. I really like how open you are about your personal life and your artistic process. Something my portfolio is missing that I want to work on this summer is lifestyle/fashion style shots, do you have any hints on how to get the ball rolling with that? Sorry if you’ve gotten this before, and keep up the good work!

Thank you so much. Really there is not hint or trick. You just gotta find people that you are friendly with and start shooting them. If you can get a model to shoot all the better.

The only tip I have for doing more lifestyle stuff is to create a good environment. Have good people around with a good energy and create a fun environment that lends it self to fun moments to capture. Often times I feel like people take shoots too serious and then they become sterile.

Ive always thought to mainly keep this tumblr more pure “photography” but with various other places becoming more and more impossible to post the “life style” iPhone stuff I shoot in my every day Ive started to consider posting some more here.
