Hakone Tozen Railway. First mountain railway in Japan. It climbs the mountain by zig zagging it’s way up to the top.

After walking an average of 10 miles a day in Tokyo, Hakone is going to be all about relaxing. Hot spring fed private onsen; sounds perfect.

Farewell little Shibuya apartment. Tokyo the last five days was incredible. Exploring the different neighborhoods and seeing what modern day Japan is like is inspiring. Next to Hakone for a bit of rural Japan and a look back.

Julie and I had the pleasure of meeting a long time favorite @tokyo-c . Had an amazing evening seeing some art galleries tucked away in apartment buildings, some “Japanese pizza,” and of course talking cameras. Thanks for an awesome evening!

In Ginza, the “shopping” district, we found a 12 story stationary store complete with a garden on the 10th floor and a cafe/restaurant on the 12th. This place is amazing.
