Throwback Thanksgiving Thursday! I’m thankful for so much this year it’s tough to know where to start. First and foremost I’m thankful for my partner in all crime my lovely lady @juiceyj. I posted the other day that life is about creating the you you want to be; but sometimes you need a little help figuring out exactly who that is and Julie has helped me figure that out. I’m thankful for a job that I get to work with my best friend everyday, the ever-so-hippy, and yet deceptively sexy, Mr. @brian_grover. I got to spend lots of time this year with my 3 amazing sisters @chloewoods8 @aliinwonderlandd and @theycallmenole; who are all equally amazing in so many unique ways and I always wish I could see them more. Last but not least I’m thankful for all of you guys who have supported, followed and like my photography since the beginning. Photography is what keeps me sane and balanced and having all of you to share that with makes a world of difference. Happy Thanksgiving to you all and I hope you all have an amazing day filled with family and food.

One of the interesting consequences of looking at a year of your life photographically is that you realize how much you change, and yet, how routine life can be. You lose focus on the idea that the photos you posted earlier in the year came from the same person posting now; the feel almost foreign like part of a group collaboration. Its a fascinating visual chronology of how your images and perspectives change. In the immortal words of Ferris Bueller “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it,” and I would say, for me, there has been no better way to do that then by forcing myself to seek out image, moments, in my every day life for this project; but beyond that, collecting those moments, and more importantly how I captured those moments, tell a story. All in all rounding the home stretch I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride.
