Thank you so much. You look like you’re doing lots of great work with the equipment you have. Most people think Leica’s are really expensive but if you hunt eBay you can usually find one for the price of a decent digital camera.
Sorry I missed this one a while back but I hope your 365 project is going well. I know they are hard to get started but as you build momentum it gets much easier I assure you.
Im currently trying to kick start a second one and finish this one and both seem very daunting.
$14 developed and scanned. The lab is Kodak Image Center or Glendale Photo, I think they are changing names.
The owner is named Mike and is a great guy.

Good question. I always put my film in a plastic ziplock that I will see when I’m taking my computer out of my carry on. Then I hand the security guard the film to “hand check.” Xray machines shouldn’t hurt film under 600 ISO, but it will fuck up, to some extent, polaroids, Instax and other instant film. So I always ask them to hand check all my film; just incase. Its time consuming, and international travel and hand checks can get very time consuming, but its the only sure fire way to have your film be unfucked by X-ray.
At least once a week if not twice a week.
Yes I do. I have my lab scan them in very flat because I don’t like scanners to do editing. I then for the most part really only edit them back to the proper color space.
