Ok final thoughts on Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea. I think I would say the rumors are true they are the best two Disney parks I’ve been to. I hate to say that because as a native southern Californian I grew up on the OG Disneyland, but there are a few things that just can’t compete. One, its newer. Because it’s newer all the rides that are the same, in Tokyo and CA are better in Tokyo because they have newer mechanics. Pirates and Jungle cruise for example, virtually the same experience but better animatronics and longer. Two, THEIR SNACK GAME IS STRONG! Their small snack stands all specialize in something different, be it zone unique flavored popcorn (definitely tracked down every flavor and they were all amazing) or delicious pizza spring rolls those stands aren’t just throw away generic stuff like in CA; each has a unique draw like we have with people standing in like for Dole whip. You could eat just the snacks, and would be wise to, and be VERY HAPPY! There are a few more things but to be fair some shortcomings are, CA has better shopping and our restaurants are better; granted we couldn’t try their higher end restaurants because they all require reservations. All in all Tokyo just edges out CA to be a bit better and it’s all things I believe we will start to see in CA. The small pop up shows, the miming repair crews, the snacks would all be amazing and small adds I really hope CA can adopt.
