Hi, I saw in one of your photographs from a while back the Julie had a Sony a7 and I was thinking about getting one so I wondered what she/you thought of it and if there were any other cameras you would recommend that are sort of in the sub $1000 price range. I love your photographs by the way! I check everyday for a new one!

Yeah I love my A7. I don’t generally enjoy shooting digital, but I really like the A7 because I can put my Leica lenses on it, or really whatever weird old funky lenses I find at swap-meets; and the focus assist where it outlines whats in focus in a color makes shooting manual lenses on a digital camera super easy.  

I don’t know digital well enough to point you to other digital cameras I recommend, but dpreview.com is the site I use to look at all the time when I was researching digital cameras.
